Job summary
Join the BuildAbility Team as a Behavior Support Specialist to assist individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in reaching their goals. The team provides a supportive environment for participants to develop positive behavioral responses, socialization skills, and pre-vocational skills.
Responsibilities
- Implementing participant services and training based on functional behavioral assessments and Individual Service Plans.
- Providing opportunities for participants to develop socialization/interpersonal communication skills and practice self-regulation/coping techniques.
