    CBIZ Somerset is a relationship driven accounting and advisory firm that is always looking for smart, ambitious, friendly people for our office locations in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Michigan City We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant based in Indianapolis to provide high-level administrative support.

    You must be able to multi-task and manage workload priorities; work well with tight deadlines; and maintain a high aptitude for detailed work and possess superior customer service and interpersonal skills.

    Essential Functions and Primary Duties


    • Create and modify reports, memos, and documents using Microsoft Office Word and Excel
    • Accurately record notes from meetings and document items requiring follow up correspondence
    • Effectively communicate with teams and assist as needed
    • Manage and prioritize a large volume of email correspondence via Outlook
    • Greet clients and gather information as needed
    • Schedule and update appointments; coordinate meetings and conference calls
    • Coordinate travel arrangements
    Preferred Qualifications


    • 4+ years of Administrative Assistant experience, accounting industry preferred, but not required.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sharepoint
    • Extremely detail oriented and organized
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts
    • Ability to work in the office daily
    • Discrete concerning confidential or sensitive information
    Minimum Qualifications


    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2 years' experience in office environment, preferably performing as an administrative assistant
    • Must have knowledge of administrative procedures and best practices
    • Proficient use of applicable technology
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
