    Role Overview:

    Korn Ferry has partnered with a global organization on their search for an HR Business Partner located in the Novi area to support a corporate client group. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual looking for progression in a high growth organization The HRBP will serve as a true Business Partner and provide HR support, guidance and advice on a variety of HR functions with a heavy emphasis on talent programs. This HRBP will support employees across a variety of corporate functions as both a strategic and tactical HR partner. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Serve as subject matter expert on all HR functions including but not limited to talent development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, etc.
    • Oversees the performance management process through partnerships with management and leadership to develop Succession Planning and Talent Management initiatives
    • Provide support to a variety of HR initiatives and leadership development and organizational development needs across a corporate client group
    • Understands managed population and works closely with all functions to drive organizational capability; knows the strengths and weakness of the team; assesses talent and recommends effective development plans
    • Develops and implements training plans to support team member development including compliance, technical skills, and leadership skills. Ensures high quality training delivery and training tracking per company standards.
    • Serve as a resource to managers and employees to address performance issues and organizational and structural changes
    • Deploys employee benefits, performance management, talent acquisition, learning and development in line with organization needs
    • Lead the entire employee talent process
    • Oversee consistency and accuracy of HR KPI as well as actions to ensure improvement trend
    • Investigate and oversee all corporate employee relations issues and/or complaints
    • Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, evolving HR responsibilities, and building leadership capability
    • Work closely with labor union and provides labor relations counsel with responsibility for grievance administration and resolving issues
    • Manage and administer benefit, health & welfare plans and initiatives
    • Additional duties as necessary

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree
    • Manufacturing, production, multisite retail, or distribution industry experience is preferred
    • Experience supporting a corporate and field employee population is required
    • Minimum of 7 years of generalist experience, 2 years as a business partner
