    Position Summary:

    Central Carolina in Sanford, NC. is seeking a Full Time Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit.

    The CNA will:

    Provide patient care to include but not limited to, assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs and Accu-checks while under the supervision and direction of the nurse.

    Essential Functions:

    · Monitor vital signs/blood sugars

    · Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition

    · Measure and document input/output and weights

    · Assist nurse as needed

    · Answer call lights

    · Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge

    · Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient

    · Distribute drinks and/or snacks

    · Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.

    · Adhere to CCH attendance policy

    · All other duties as assigned

    Required Education:

    · High school diploma or equivalent

    · Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program I

    Required Certifications:

    · Certified Nursing Assistant I

    · BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
