    World class manufacturer west of Gary, IN is seeking a Packaging Engineer to add to their team.

    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 3 years of manufacturing packaging experience and process and project engineering experience.

    Seeking an innovative approach to packaging engineering. Industry experience coming from consumer packaged goods, food/beverage or electronics manufacturing a plus. Excellent salary and benefits, will relocate for the right candidate. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

    Permanent salary: $100, ,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Provide the company with the capability to manufacture and launch consumer goodsSuccessfully implement Innovation projects and explore and introduce new technologyDeliver business value and engineering solutionsResponsible for all aspects of full lifecycle of product technology projects: idea phase, R&D, planning and innovation as well as working with supply chainManage multiple projects simultaneously relating to process and packagingWork closely with R&D and planning teams to create line efficiencyHelp influence site process/packing strategy through sourcing assessments, capital investment recommendations and development of long-term plans Requirements: B.S.

    in EngineeringAt least 3 years of process/packaging engineering experience in manufacturing, CPG preferredProject Management experienceKnowledge of packing equipment principles and practicesUnderstanding of innovation management workflows desiredUnderstanding of packaging systems and integration into plant manufacturing systemsKnowledge of Rockwell systems, CAD and MS Project a plus #LI-JD1qualifications:
