Energy Analyst - Cedar Rapids, United States - Eagle Point Solar
Description
Under the direct supervision of the Design and Engineering Manager, the Energy Analyst is responsible for measuring energy efficiency and analyzing utility bills for proposed solar projects.
Create customer facing Solar PV reports.
Research and analyze utility bill information and utility policy.
Calculate impact of Solar PV system under varying scenarios.
Build web-based portals for on-line monitoring capabilities.
Assist the department in other areas as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience using 3D & 2D modelling software.
Motivated, collaborative, and team focused.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
Education and Experience
Experience using industry specific tools including: Energy Toolbase, Helioscope, Scanifly, and SketchUp.
Knowledge of utility billing policies and tariffs
Bachelor's or Associates degree in renewable energy, environmental science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Work Hours and Location
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm in the Cedar Rapids office
