    JOB SUMMARY

    As a Field Service System Technician, you will engineer, commission, operate, and maintain our AirSCWO systems. This includes providing commissioning support during initial testing, testing various operating conditions, performing planned and unplanned maintenance, and system checks.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    Some of your key responsibilities as a System Technician include:

    • Solving complex problems and thinking creatively
    • Installing, operating, and maintaining AirSCWO systems at client facilities
    • Developing and implementing commissioning and testing procedures
    • Conducting operational systems tests to meet client and safety needs
    • Maintaining, repairing, servicing, and collecting data on maintenance activities
    • Reviewing site requirements and utility preparation for site integration
    • Assisting with AirSCWO system design, development, assembly, and testing
    • Training client personnel on safe operations and maintenance practices

    WHO YOU ARE

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering, or equivalent process engineering degree preferred
    • In-depth knowledge of wastewater, water, and waste treatment processes, operations, and equipment for municipal and industrial applications preferred
    • Knowledge and experience in high-pressure, supercritical, hydrothermal, or similar processes preferred
    • Plant commissioning and startup experience, including reviewing equipment specifications, establishing safety protocols, working with HMI's, etc.
    • Experience operating mechanical and technical equipment
    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hands
    • Specific relevant areas of expertise in pressure systems, electrical & instrumentation, metallurgy, separations, valves, pumps, etc.
    • Ability to read, create, and maintain engineering documents such as P&IDs, equipment lists, functional descriptions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), O&M manuals, etc.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, Visio, and Google Suite, as well as project management and other software applications required to conduct our business
    • Experience working in startup and technology companies preferred
    • Willingness and ability to travel to company, client, partner, and event locations, and spend contiguous weeks on-site with clients

    Physical Requirements

    • This position requires using hands to troubleshoot equipment, close vision, and dexterity with fingers
    • This position requires an individual to sit, stand, and move about the facility
    • Ability to lift 40 lbs
