Overview:
The training application specialist will be responsible for Amerex product training as directed by the Training Manager and vehicle suppression system field training for the transit industry. As part of the marketing team, the training specialist is responsible for the field training plan for vehicle systems for the transit industry and provides support for kitchen system and portable training.
Responsibilities:Work closely with Training Manager to provide kitchen system and other product training.
Work with the Product Manager Vehicle Systems and Marketing Manager on the transit vehicle training schedule.
Train transit technicians in the field on all aspects of Amerex Vehicle Systems.
Work with engineering and Product Manager to ensure all vehicle system training information is up to date.
Develop materials needed to enhance vehicle system training programs.
Conduct other Amerex systems training classes as directed by the Training Manager.
Assist Training Manager with record keeping and other needs.
Keep Product Manager Vehicle systems apprised of technician challenges in the field.
Train on other Amerex products as needed.
Overnight and air travel is required.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree preferred
Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate media equipment
Ability to handle multiple assignments
Minimum 3 years of experience in training, technical field or customer success
Ability to conduct training sessions in person and remotely
