    Description

    Our client is looking for a Snowflake Data Management Specialist with a minimum of 8 years of experience specializing in Analytical data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud warehouse and its features, along with a good understanding of cloud AWS architecture and its services. This is a contract to hire position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and analyze SQL and PL/SQL procedures for data integration.

    Build ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using Python and Snowflake SQL, and develop scripts using Unix shell for data extraction and loading.

    Understand logical and physical data models to support analytics and business intelligence.

    Create SQL-based processes for building slowly changing dimension and various types of facts.

    Perform Data Lineage Analysis, Data Profiling Mapping Integration, ETL Validation Cleansing Masking Sub setting, Profiling Archiving, Purging Virtualization, Metadata Management, Performing Unit Test, System integration test Support, UAT.

    Engage in SQL performance tuning and root cause analysis, resolving technical issues.

    Must-Have Skills:

    Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Management and specialized in Analytical data warehousing.

    Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud warehouse and its features.

    Good knowledge of cloud AWS architecture and its services.

    Experience with SQL and PL/SQL procedures for data integration.

    Experience in ETL development using Python and Snowflake SQL, and Unix shell scripting.

    Strong understanding of logical and physical data models.

    Experience in Data Lineage Analysis, Data Profiling Mapping Integration, and SQL performance tuning.

    Experience with Agile methodology and documentation using Jira.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
