    $89,100 - $148,600 per year (salary to be determined by geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly schedules/coordinates resources required to process shipments from local site. Ensures that production plan meets customer requirements. Works closely with manufacturing to escalate inventory concerns that may create delivery problems.
    Lead warehousing team to achieve optimal customer experience.
    Optimize finished goods inventory.
    Handle logistics and supply issues including root cause investigations.
    Participate in, lead, and generate special projects to continuously improve our operations.
    Work closely with team to understand volumes, business changes and needs for equipment, routes and services. Support management of third-party carriers, equipment, and maintenance vendors.

    Ensure all equipment (rail and truck) meet current regulatory needs, remain in optimum condition and appropriate maintenance and certifications are completed.

    Ensure safety and compliance with all applicable laws and corporate requirements (ex. Responsible Care, ISO standards). Responsible for development, improvements, and implementation of safety/operating policies. Support operating teams to maintain/improve safe working conditions and maintaining good housekeeping practices. Prepare and update plans to deal with transportation-related emergencies.
    REQUIREMENTSUndergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
    Minimum of 7 years in Supply Chain, with 5 in the chemical industry preferred.
    High level computer skills including Excel, SAP, and PowerPoint required.
    Personal initiative and the ability to work without supervision is essential.
    Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels in the organization, both locally and abroad.

    Willing to challenge existing business processes and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, about processes and changes to processes in the finished goods supply chain.

    Able to juggle multiple priorities operationally while looking long-term for planning purposes.
    Must be able to anticipate issues and trouble shoot solutions to (ideally eliminate) reduce customer delivery impacts.
    Must have experience in multiple modes of transport- rail, truck and ocean.
    Experienced manager of exempt and non-exempt employees preferred.
