Pay Rate:
$55,000 - $65,000 / Year dependent on applicable experience

We're partnering with a growing organization in Bloomington to add a Collections Specialist to their team. This is a permanent opportunity focused on B2B collections in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable owning their portfolio, communicating with business customers, and keeping AR balances current while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and identify past-due accounts
Contact customers via phone and email to collect outstanding balances
Resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal departments
Negotiate payment plans when appropriate
Document collection activities and update customer records in the system
Reconcile customer accounts and research unapplied payments
Issue credit memos, refunds, or adjustments as needed
Prepare weekly aging and collections status reports
Escalate high-risk accounts to management when necessary
Requirements
2+ years of B2B collections experience
Comfortable working with standard collections processes
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts
Experience working in an ERP system preferred
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
