    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments.

    The Senior Tax Accountant is expected to have regular contact with Division and Subsidiary Controllers' staff regarding tax compliance issues.


    • Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments, extensions and related workpapers.
    • Prepare International Tax Reporting Forms 5471 and 5472.
    • Reconcile and analyze income tax accounts to assure that they are accurately reflected in the Company's financial statements.
    • Monitor current tax legislation and advise tax management on its impact on the Company.
    • Assists in the preparation of the interim and year-end federal and state income tax provision.
    • Respond to federal and state notices.
    • Assists in providing and compiling requested information for federal and state audits.
    • Supervise the Sales & Use Tax Compliance process ensuring the accurate and timely filing of sales and use tax returns and completion of other related tasks.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
    • - 3 years of public accounting experience at a Big 4..
    • CPA certification or eligible.
    • ASC 740 experience.
    • Good working knowledge of income tax concepts and accounting principles.
    • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to consistently meet all deadlines.
    • Experience in responding to taxing jurisdiction inquiries and resolving issues with minimal supervision.
