    Under the guidance of Corporate Compliance senior management, implements solutions to reduce regulatory and compliance related exposures.

    Leads, directs and represents Corporate Compliance in the development and deployment of compliance-focused analytical capabilities and technology solutions, data-enabled testing and monitoring solutions, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Drives operational effectiveness and efficient allocation of compliance resources through delivery of enhanced management reporting, analytical insights, tools and technology solutions.

    Facilitates enhanced compliance outcomes through implementing quality assurance and governance processes aligned with compliance strategic priorities.

    Leverages superior analytical capabilities to conceptualize and develop new, reusable tools, models and approaches to enable pro-active testing, monitoring, and mitigation of regulatory and compliance risks.



    • Enables increased accountability over compliance risks within the First Line of Defense by regular interactions with business unit and functional areas, providing timely and accurate analysis and insights to business units and senior leadership as appropriate.
    • Collaborates with business partners across the organization to improve how compliance related operational metrics are gathered, stored, and analyzed.
    • Monitors regulatory and compliance risk across the enterprise. Develops and monitors key performance indicators across product lines and functional areas.
    • Monitors business unit initiatives and results. Performs risk and trend analysis to identify potential compliance risk and determine impact on policies, procedures, and business practices. Provides analysis, reports, and provides insights to business partners and key stakeholders.
    • Leads project teams in the evaluation of technology improvement projects. Develops and implements best practices, and recommends modifications to the technology systems that are leveraged to support the Corporate Compliance function.
    • Plans, organizes and conducts business process reengineering and improvement projects. Plans and oversees large, complex projects to elicit and review business requirements on key initiatives and address possible impacts on functional areas. Acts as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments of and modifications to existing testing and monitoring processes and/or systems.
    • Reviews and directs the evaluation and assessment of regulatory fines and penalties to determine root causes and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
    • Implements Compliance Quality Assurance program and develops key performance indicators and strong feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement.


    Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills required to interact effectively with all levels of external and/or internal business partners within scope of responsibility, team and/or matrix environment.



    • Leadership and management skills demonstrating integrity and professionalism.
    • In-depth technical knowledge of theories and practices of data science, actuarial science, or related field.
    • Mastery of multi-disciplinary analytical capabilities to develop insights and draw conclusions beyond what is readily apparent.
    • Passion for leveraging technology, tools and process improvements to develop innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement in business operations.
    • Technical coding expertise to provide strategic direction and oversight of Compliance function's product development and data & analytics roadmap strongly preferred.
    • Time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task handling multiple parallel projects
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Cloud solutions and other business-related software preferred.
    Bachelor's degree, preferably in Compliance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Finance / Internal Audit or related field.


    • Master's degree in quantitative analytics or related field preferred
    • Typically a minimum of 7-10 years of related work experience
    • Experience in business process analysis, computer system implementations, change management, and analytical or research studies preferred.
    • Experience in developing business process specifications preferred
