Hybrid- Java Developer


Location:
Pittsburgh in office 2 days a week (Hybrid)


Duration:
Contract to hire

Candidate Technical and skills profile:

Key responsibilities:

• Attend agile ceremonies
• Work on user stories
• Work on back end services and front end services

Applications:
Capital markets and fixed income portfolio will be the broker dealer system

Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):

- senior full stack developer with angular and java server stack experience

• Agile developer (middle/back end Java dev)
• ***Java
• ***Springboot
• ***Microservices
• Rest API
• GIT
• Jenkins

Flex Skills:

SQL
OpenShift

Kafka

Soft skills that would make a candidate successful in this role:

Ability to work independently and assist more junior developers from the team. Excellent communication skills are required.

• Team player
• Flexibility in the workplace and can adapt quickly to new situations
• Previous leadership/supervisory experience is a plus but can also be able to work independently

Education required:
Bachelor's required (software engineering, computer science, and/or related field)

Years of experience:
Level 3 5-7 years

Interview Process:

1st round with hiring manager and scrum master - initial screening

2nd round technical screening, hands on with developer and architect
