    Stroke Program Director

    , providing clinical leadership and program development
    Collaborate with a dedicated team of primary care and specialty providers

    Shared telephone call responsibilities with no hospital inpatient call required

    What We Offer

    Salary Range:
    $350-375k annually + productivity incentives
    Stroke Directorship Stipend

    Sign-On Bonus:
    Up to $40k

    Relocation Assistance:
    Up to $20k

    Job Requirements

    MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology (ABMS or AOA)
    Active California medical license (or ability to obtain) and DEA registration
    Strong clinical and communication skills with a commitment to team-based care
    Interest or experience in stroke care and program leadership preferred
    Passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse and underserved community

    Merced is a growing city of over 90,000 residents with a 190-bed hospital and a University of CA campus, both of which have attracted a large number of physicians to our community.

    The UC is also planning for the development of a medical school.

    close proximity to all the amenities of large metropolitan areas and the low cost, low stress environment of a family oriented Central CA community.
