    We're looking for an active customer-focused team player with exceptional sales skills to be the next Sales Manager at our busy hotel.

    You'll oversee the development of a sales and marketing plan that includes soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking.

    This energetic leader will be able to enhance revenue by researching local market trends and competitive behavior to discover and close business leads.

    Primary Responsibilities Include :
    Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in preparing the departmental budget as well as the hotels overall sales goals and strategiesIncrease new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, as well as engaging your local community networkStudy and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leadsDevelop and maintain connections with important groups and catering accounts in order to maintain and expand our market shareAttend various industry tradeshows and conferences as a professional representative of the hotel while adhering to the budget and marketing plan requirementsServe as a member of the properties management team Perform other duties as assigned

    Successful Candidates Must Have:

    High school diploma or GEDBachelors degree in business or a similar field is a plusAt least 3 years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitalityGood organization and time management skillsSome previous work experience in a hospitality role requiredExceptional communication skills and ability to negotiate and network effectivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to adapt to change quicklyMust be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Schedule varies according to business demands and needsExce ptional interpersonal skills and human relation skills that positively benefit interaction with staff, partners, and external clienteleAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamMust be detail-oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
