Frye Regional Medical Center includes a 355-bed acute care hospital and features a 32-bed Emergency Department, 29-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, 15-bed Surgical Suite and Inpatient/Outpatient Imaging. Our South Campus is an 81-bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital.

    *Position Summary:
    Essential Functions

    • Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
    • Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.
    • Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
    • Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery ofnew stafforientation and education activities.

    *Minimum Qualifications:
    **Minimum Education
    Bachelor's Degreepreferred

    Licenses/Certifications
    Current RN license valid in NC

    Required Skills

    • Hospital RN Clinical Experience in acute care setting
    • Experience in clinical system implementations throughout the projectlife-cycle, performing workflow analysis, testing, training, go-live support, system upgrades, and issues management.
    • Experience in organizational/behavior change management methodologies or principles; passion for excellence and ability to move organizations out of their comfort zone to achieveexcellence
    • Experience in conducting evaluations and assessments, readiness assessments, workflow optimizationassessments)Requirescritical thinking skills, decisivejudgmentand the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and takeappropriate action.
    • Demonstrated ability to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a team; networks with colleagues and industry forums toleverageknowledge.
    • Good understanding of clinical standards and integration of technology.
