• What you'll be doing:
  • Own and drive your role in the Pepper Joe's business through proper care and production in the Greenhouse.
  • Manage greenhouse cleanliness & sanitation
  • Take ownership of seed germination testing
  • Lead pepper de-seeding, harvesting, and assist with shipping & order coordination
  • Coordinate with the team to assist with pepper plant care (planting, medium prep, pruning, fertilizer mixing, etc.)
  • Assist with equipment maintenance
  • Advocate & adhere to greenhouse PPE policy
  • Seek continuous improvement & alignment with greenhouse goals
• What we value in this role:
  • Greenhouse production certificate, degree in Plant Science, Horticulture or related professional experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in the utilization of math throughout daily work
  • Excellent planning skills and experience specific to greenhouse cycling
  • Ability to record, organize and manage your workload
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Highly organized
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 3
  • Lean 5S
