The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will p rovide and assist in direct patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse (RN) as prescribed by the physician and the treatment team. The LPN will provide medical management and re-assessment of patients and will assist the RN with environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population. The LPN will supervise Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) as directed by the RN. Responsibilities also include documenting patient care and ensuring that data is accurate and that it is included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. The LPN will also work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
