    SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable professional to join our company as a Senior Tax Manager reporting to our Head of Tax.

    Primary ResponsibilitiesPlanning, M&A and transformationBuild and maintain close working relationships across various corporate and business functions throughout the organization to facilitate timely and accurate tax filings and execution of tax strategyEvaluate opportunities to minimize effective tax rate and cash taxes while managing riskProvide technical leadership across all functional areas including federal, partnership state and international taxes, US tax reform, business restructurings, impact of new legislation, M&A, accounting methods and pronouncements on tax reporting and complianceOversee implementation and application of a consistent governance framework across the tax functionAdvises on M&A activities (acquisition integration, divestment analysis, legal entity rationalization, modelling tax scenarios.)Lead and manage post-merger operations integration to ensure seamless transition for filing and reportingPrepare and deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholders on various topics such as key reports on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basisOversee tax planning, research and special projects, ensure ongoing regular collaboration with the business and ensure tax considerations are takin into account in business driven projects, ideas and initiativesLead tax technology efforts for Indicor and BU's, including overseeing the set-up and management of ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) and compliance softwareWork closely with global technology leaders to align with enterprise systemsImplements new tax policies, strategies, and procedures to support tax and other cross-functional initiatives, including working with the BUs, as appropriateTax reporting and compliancePrimarily responsible for the review of Federal Tax Compliance and tax provisionEnsures income tax reporting and related disclosures are complete and accurate in financial statementsEnsures interim quarterly consolidated effective tax rate and tax forecast are updated periodically and are complete and accurateConsults and advises on significant transactions and provides timely business support and analysisEnsures proper design, operation and maintenance of SOX controlsManages the tax compliance process for both US (federal & state) filingsPerforms secondary level review of all filings upon completion by Outside Service Provider related to international and partnership compliance (including support for K-1 estimates), where applicableUpdate and ensure proper measurement of uncertain tax positions, tax risk management and supports tax auditsManages the relationship with the Outside Service Provider including communicating deadlines, setting expectations, etc.

    This also includes serving as a liaison between the Outside Service Provider and other business unitsMaintains strong links with tax management team and plays active role in advice and analysis, audit management and coordination of financial reporting and compliance activities across the BU'sMonitors and analyzes tax regulatory and compliance developments and tax law changes, and communicates its impact to key stakeholdersMonitors and analyzes tax regulatory and compliance developments and tax law changes for Indicor and BUs and communicate its impact to key stakeholdersEnsure regulatory compliance with Indicor and BU reporting requirementsFinancial planning and processes across business unitsPrimarily responsible for management and coordination of federal and state income, franchise and local tax auditsLeads the company's response to all federal, state, franchise and local tax examinations including Information Document Request process and preparation of audit responsesManage and oversee the Company's position during the audits of state and local tax returns to enable the auditors to understand and accept the reasons for tax positions as reflected on tax returnsLogs, monitors, reviews and prepares IDR responses on a timely basisAnalyzes risks and sustainability of various tax positions taken in the tax filings and financial statementsSupport business units related to tax controversyTransfer pricingSets transfer pricing strategy and planning for the businessMonitorsthe Company's transfer pricing policies and related documentation, including coordinating services with Outside Service Provider, if necessaryFoster an environment of collaboration, camaraderie, mentoring and professional developmentLead a team of experienced professionalsQualificationsMinimum of 10 years combined public accounting and corporate experience with at least 6 or more years of direct management and supervisory experienceStrong knowledge of income tax reporting standards and experience in their applicationStrong foundation and base of technical skills and compliance experience, including process and controls and use of tax tools, applications and relevant financial systemsExperience demonstrates ability to identify, analyze and communicate complex income tax issues and related implications on the Company to key stakeholders and Senior ManagementExcellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to interact and team effectively with Company personnel and external advisorsFamiliarity with tax provision and compliance tools like ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP), preferredExcellent quantitative and analytical skills and sound understanding of the financial statement and tax audit implications of tax planningStrong project management and leadership skillsProven track record of building high-performing teams and development of skills and capabilities of tax function.

    CPA required; Masters in Taxation and/or J.D. is strongly preferred.

    Ability to interact and team with professionals in various functional areas to resolve complex tax issues throughout the organization.
