    Job Title: Program Manager Department: Programs

    Reports to: Program Director Status Full-time; Exempt

    Job Summary:

    The Program Manager oversees several enrichment programs at afterschool sites. Will make sure each site is creating a safe, organized, fun and educational environment for all youth involved. Support Site Coordinators in creating a successful program that is in line with AWFFK's mission and vision.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and guide all Site Coordinators at assigned sites. Ensure that Site Coordinators are equipped to deliver quality programs, meet compliance requirements, and provide a safe and supportive environment.
    • Generate assessments, surveys and evaluations for all stakeholders that will guide the development site program plans
    • Develop program plans
    • Provide training to all site staff that will enhance their skills in facilitating youth voice and leadership that promote positive relationships within the program
    • Communicate with Site Coordinators regarding funding requirements, budgets, and any pertinent information that affects the day-to-day operations of the site
    • Conduct bi-annually evaluations of all program site staff
    • Ensure that programs meet contractual and organizational goals and expectations, including fiscal and programmatic compliance.
    • Assist Site Coordinator in engaging and communicating with parents, school administration and funders.
    • Attend collaborative meetings with Site Coordinator and school administration
    • In collaboration with Program Director define continuous quality improvement by identifying goals, action steps, timelines, assessments, stakeholders and reviewing data to assess the quality of programs
    • Conduct weekly site coordinator meetings to support site needs
    • Review and approve monthly attendance, registrations and any necessary documentation
    • Prepare for grant funded audits by maintaining all attendance records, compliance requirements and fiscal reports- in collaboration with operations department
    • Support site coordinator with incident reports and disciplinary actions
    • Conduct bi-weekly observations at each site
    • Oversee budgets at each site
    • Collaborate with Operations Department to ensure that all staffing needs are met
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Required Skills/Qualifications:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Education and Experience:

    • BA preferred in education, youth development, physical education or a related field
    • Experience in education, tutoring, running community programs/ events, student recruitment and staff development is required
    • Minimum of three-four years' experience in the expanded learning field, working with K-12 grades with a strong background in middle and high school settings required.
    • Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisor role
    • High School diploma
    • Spanish communication is desirable
