    Description

    Our client, a wellness brand, is hiring a temp Senior Cyber Analyst to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule. This is a temp position that will begin in early May and continue for approximately 1 year.

    Job Duties Include:

    • Conduct research and strategic analysis of intelligence data to leverage in threat hunting
    • Maintain knowledge of relevant vulnerabilities, indicators of compromise tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), etc.
    • Provide insight into existing and emerging threats and use insights to search for activity that is anomalous and/or malicious
    • Partner to baseline user behaviors and events and build new detections and response workflows
    • Provide triage support for incident response and investigation efforts
    • Recommend and build countermeasures based on threat analysis, intelligence, and forecasting
    • Prepare and present analysis with findings and recommendations as required
    • Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned

    Job Qualifications Include:

    • 5+ years of experience in Information Security
    • Experience in incident response or threat detection required
    • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes), SaaS platforms (O365, Google Workspace), or IAM a plus
    • Strong knowledge of Incident Response principles and processes
    • Experience with Automation specifically for Incident Handling / SOAR
    • Strong experience with SIEM tools or data lakes and dissecting attacker methodologies and techniques and/or EDR tooling
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Bachelors Degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering)
    • Previous experience in cloud-native or tech environments preferred
    • Network or MacOS knowledge a preferred
    • Programming/Scripting experience preferred
    • Security certifications such as GCTI, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN, etc. preferred

    Salary: $ $72.52/hr
