ProCare Therapy is searching for a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for theWidefield School Districtin Colorado Springs, CO, for the school year. Job Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Colorado Springs, CO
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: Full School Year
• Hours:40+ hours per week

Qualifications:

• Will need CDE SSP License
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
• Colorado SPED Teaching Certification
• Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
• Familiar with IEP's and EDP's

Responsibilities:

• Support the behavior unit, providing positive supports and interventions determinedby IEP committees
• Assess students' abilities and track their progress
• Provide direct instructional inclusion and assessment services to students with various types of disabilities
