    Auburn Union School District serves the foothill community of Auburn, located 40 miles northeast of Sacramento on the western slope of the California High Sierra.

    AUSD educates 1,877 students in preschool through eighth grade at four elementary schools (Alta Vista Community Charter, Auburn Elementary, Rock Creek and Skyridge), and one middle school (E.V.

    Job Summary

    Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist in providing speech therapy services to identified students in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals; maintain records and documentation on students; drive to various locations to
    conduct work.


    Requirements / Qualifications

    Must have a valid Clear Clinical and Rehabilitative Services Credential, or Speech Language Pathology Services Language, Speech and Hearing Authorization

    Must possess a Clinical Certification, American Speech and Hearing Association; Evidence of supervised experience working with communicatively handicapped elementary school-age students; Experience as a Language, Speech, and Hearing Specialist in a public school; Knowledge of agencies providing services for the language, speech, and hearing impaired; One (1) year of successful experience in a California school district or County Schools Office.



    License AND Other Requirements:
    Valid TB Test (Within the last 4 years)
    California DOJ and FBI Fingerprint Clearance following initial job offer
