    Endowed Chair in Neurosurgery At the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), we are looking for the best and brightest.

    The UAMS College of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery , is seeking a highly qualified neurosurgeon and leader to join the faculty and to serve as the Co-Director of the Comprehensive Spine Program.

    The Neurosurgical Co-Director of the Comprehensive Spine Program will lead and further develop the spinal surgery program of the Neurosciences Service Line at UAMS in partnership with the Orthopaedic Co-Director, which requires a commitment to lead others within and outside the department.

    Endowed Chair in Neurosurgery. Responsibilities Level 1 trauma coverage
    Clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

    Engagement in scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine and results in peer-reviewed publications and presentations at regional and national meetings.

    License to practice medicine or eligible for licensure with the Arkansas State Medical Board (ASMB).
    Completion of an accredited Neurological Surgery Training Program
    Academic rank commensurate with experience.
