    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry position in a trauma setting, requiring at least 2 years of clinical experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

    Responsibilities

    • Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
    • Trauma telemetry patient population
    • Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
    • 13-week contract
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
    • All certifications must be from AHA or ARC

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license required
    • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
    • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
    • Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
    • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
    • One professional reference required
    • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
