- Collaborate with Business Development to promote the technology
- Assist customers in installing SDKs and algorithms, analyze customer systems to determine the most suitable HW/SW solutions
- Analyze technical issues raised by customers and liaise with engineering for optimal solutions
- Work with business development to craft technical proposals and statements of work, gathering requirements from customers
- Organize regular technical discussions with customers to elucidate quadric deliverables and resolve customer concerns with engineering support, while ensuring regular follow-up and monitoring
- Conduct periodic training sessions
- Coordinate with Sales and Engineering in designing appropriate application systems and specifying product requirements based on customer needs
- Collaborate with product marketing and engineering teams
- Conduct feasibility studies for projects
- Travel occasionally
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Electronics Engineering field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in customer/business development support for SDKs
- Demonstrable basic knowledge of software perception systems and/or Computer Vision
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience in describing, building, running, and deploying Docker containers
- Proficiency with Linux or Unix based operating systems
- Experience with at least one of the following neural network/machine learning frameworks: PyTorch, Tensorflow, Tensorflow-Lite
- Experience in quantizing, running, and debugging neural networks with ONNX runtime is a plus
- Experience in supporting parallel C/C++ languages is beneficial (CUDA, OpenVX, NEON, etc.)
- Solid understanding of intermediate git concepts like branching, rebasing, merge conflict resolution, etc.
- Ability to systematically debug issues, relay information to the engineering team, and test and deploy system updates and upgrades

Description
Quadric has developed a cutting-edge general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture. The unique software and hardware combo by Quadric is designed to handle neural network (NN) inference workloads across a wide range of edge and endpoint devices. These include anything from small battery-powered smart-sensor systems to high-performance automotive or autonomous vehicle systems. Unlike other NPUs or neural network accelerators in the current industry that can only accelerate a part of a machine learning graph, the Quadric GPNPU can execute both NN graph code and traditional C++ DSP and control code.
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will collaborate closely with Business Development, Product, and Engineering teams to offer technical customer support before and after sales. This role necessitates strong customer communication and troubleshooting skills for remote and on-site training and product presentations. It is a technical position involving system debugging, coding, and scripting. Candidates must work independently and develop expert-level skills with the in-house product line, including HPC Hardware (IP, Chips, Boards), SDK, and various Algorithms (NN, DSP, Vision, Path Planning, etc.).
