Job Summary: The Control Room Operations Team Leader at Entergy Texas, Inc. is a crucial role reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This position is responsible for directing, leading, and supervising a team of operations personnel in a multi-craft, multi-skilled plant environment. The primary goal is to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the CCGT power plant. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, maintaining high safety standards, and managing budget allocations effectively.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for safety, compliance, budgeting, reliability, and all plant operations aspects
• Provides leadership for operational/maintenance personnel and manages staffing issues
• Develops procedures and measures to monitor process controls and ensure regulatory requirements are fulfilled
• Works with system planning organization to maximize plant production
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external interfaces
• Supports budget/project development and cost control
• Provides leadership in end-to-end contract management and contractor oversight
• Evaluates and champions gap closure actions aligned with business strategy

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum Experience:
  • 5+ years of Power Plant Operations/Maintenance or engineering experience with a technical degree
  • 10+ years of power plant experience without a degree
  • Desired:CCTG prior supervisory or leadership experience
• Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Extensive knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance practices
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong accountability for results
