Job Description Summary:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas is recruiting a full-time Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) subspecialist to help build the growing MIGS division.
The new faculty member will provide surgical and non-surgical consultations for benign gynecologic disorders, such as endometriosis, fibroids, and pelvic pain, often for medically and surgically complicated patients.
They will also serve as a core member of the educational faculty and provide clinical, didactic, and simulation training for the residents and medical students, participate in research, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
There are shared GYN call responsibilities, but no Obstetric call is required.
The University of Kansas Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology includes over forty faculty and advanced practice providers in the Specialist, MIGS, FPMRS, GYN ONC, REI, and MFM Divisions.
