    Description

    Title: Program Coordinator II

    Duration: 9 Months

    Location: Menlo Park, CA

    Summary

    This position is responsible for managing administrative aspects of the State & Local Policy Team. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting various events, programs and initiatives at headquarters (Menlo Park) and helping our national team with budget and overall logistical coordination as needed.

    Responsiblities

    Supports events & community engagement efforts:

    Helps with event management and community initiatives as needed.

    Manage planning, logistics and tracking for activities, including but not limited to our community tabling, tours, career panels, and overall community engagements.

    Help with any assets associated with engagements, that may include visuals, sponsorship ads, and engagement recap emails.

    Leads Meta Summer Academy programming:

    Serve as main liaison with our nonprofit partner for the Meta Summer Academy (MSA), a six week career exploration program for our local high school students.

    Ability to support the preparation for MSA and be able to focus on the programming throughout the summer as it will be the main responsibility from June through August.

    Manages team budget:

    Work closely with finance and legal teams to support contract renewal, compliance process, onboarding, POs/invoices and overall support the process.

    Partner with our Regional Leads across the US to ensure we are supporting with their budget requests and finance follow ups.

    Helps manage and track the budget to reflect most updated sponsorships/donations/etc.

    Provides administrative support:

    Supports social media account support and tracking internal progress.

    Draft and submit ad credits requests for our key partners.

    Creates daily and weekly update reports for the team as needed.

    Upon completion of events and/or projects, responsible for close out activities to include documentation of processes and archival of materials (briefs, documentation, creatives, etc.)

    Assist with day to day operations and tasks to ensure we are providing the necessary assistance to the team.

    Qualification

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams

    Strong event coordination and project management experience

    Self-motivated and able to navigate a fast pace environment

    Ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities at a timely manner

    Organizational skills and proven ability to work with minimal supervision

    Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor and strong written and verbal skills

    Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Google suite, Adobe Creative Suite/Design

    Spanish proficiency would be a great asset but not required

    Education/Experience

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
