    Remote Bilingual Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Needed in Indiana

    Are you passionate about empowering students to overe educational and visual barriers? VocoVision TelePractice Organization is a teletherapy provider for independent contractors, offering a diverse range of specialized, remote services, and instruction for students in need of speech, language, visual, and occupational therapy in schools across the country. We are currently seeking an experienced Sign Language Interpreter (SLI), fluent in English and Spanish for the school year who is dedicated to making a positive impact on students lives through teletherapy and telemunication, all from the fort of your own home.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure prehensive support for students.
    • municate with school administration and general education teachers to facilitate progress in the classroom.
    • K-12 caseload (depending on experience).
    • Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA pliant).
    • Additional details to be discussed during our interview.


    Qualifications:

    • Excellent munications and interpersonal skills.
    • Available full-time or part-time during school hours.
    • Bachelors Level Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) or Education Interpreting from an accredited program.
    • Valid Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) rating of 3.3 or higher.
    • Valid Indiana educational interpreting certification (schools may be open to pending certification) OR Valid RID National Interpreter Certification (NIC).
    • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
    • Familiarity with online therapy platforms (Zoom/Teams).
    • Capable internet and puter set up for virtual work.
