- Ensuring a highly available issuing service, ensuring established redundancy
- Establishing and executing a multi-year strategy for issuing, including networks, service providers, platform and internal needs
- Operating a best-in-class cost and performance-driven issuing function in cooperation with internal stakeholders
- Attract and lead a high performing team, establishing the operating model, goals, and KPIs
- Partner with cross functional stakeholders (including product, legal, finance, and engineering) to define and maintain existing capabilities and execute new initiatives
- 15+ years of payments experience in a fast moving technology or financial services company
- 5+ years leadership experience including building out and cultivating high performing teams in a scale environment
- Deep understanding of the payment industry, including displayed experience and leadership in issuing
- Experience leading teams which use quantitative data to develop and evolve operational processes, medium term initiatives and long-term strategy
- Strong relationship building skills with executives and technical teams & the ability to develop consensus and drive stakeholders to a decision
- Strong ability to build & leverage cross functional relationships internally and externally
- Extensive experience with commercial contracts and negotiations
