You will find our products on fast-casual menus, frozen meals, retail deli, meal kits and RTE bagged salads. We co-create and supply our partners with hot-cooked products including sauces, cheese sauces, soups, chilis and marinades. Our cold-processed products include dressings, sauces, spreads, and batters. And we have a world-class facility dedicated to producing fresh salsas. We are a fast-growing food organization with 4 production facilities in So Cal and 1 facility in the East Coast. Work under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Sanitation Manager, lead a group of sanitation technicians with daily cleaning tasks. This role will run from 11:00 PM-6:30 AM

    Job Functions:

    • Work under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Sanitation Manager
    • Oversee the tasks and train subordinates on proper sanitation SSOp's.
    • Maintain proper communications with upper management as well as production, maintenance, quality control, and warehouse departments.
    • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance including dismantling and inspecting all processing and packaging equipment.
    • Be able to work OT as needed, be able to work flexible hours.
    • Lead the sanitation group to conduct sanitation tasks based on order of urgency.
    • Be able to maintain all record paperwork of all cleaning including the master sanitation schedule
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Physical Demands:

    The employee will be on feet 100% of their shift. They are walking up to 100% of their shift, and will bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, lift items/equipment up to 50lbs. Body mechanics is crucial to meet the demand of the physical labor.

    PPE Required:

    Sanitation Aprons, chemical resistant gloves, Safety Glasses, Face shield. Rubber water and slip resistant Toe protected boots.

    Work Environment:

    Warehouse and production exposure will be expected. You may be exposed to fumes, temperature changes (hot, cold), loud noises, wet environment and moving mechanical parts and vibration.

    Qualifications:

    • 2 years in a sanitation lead role
