    Missoula, MT, US Seeking an Adult Group Home Staff Member to join our dedicated team at Winds of Change.

    The ideal candidate will have direct interaction with clients and will oversee daily house operations. Responsibilities include sitting, standing, walking, stretching arms and legs, and engaging in verbal communication. Tasks may involve lifting or moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. The role requires good vision, encompassing close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, with a strong ability to concentrate. Regular attendance is a requirement for this position. Night shift - Schedule is Saturday - Monday nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.

    $17-$18 per hour Responsibilities:


    • Evaluate and assess barriers that affect independent living or community living
    • Address communication skills
    • Identify and implement symptom management skills
    • Develop social support systems
    • Cleaning common areas
    • Assist with medication distribution
    • Adapt skills for home, work, education, vocation, leisure, and social activities
    • Provide immediate crisis intervention; attend to the 24-hour crisis line
    • Oversee the preparation of 3 nutritious meals per day
    • Be responsible for following the transitional treatment plan developed by the manager
    • Ability to maintain regular attendance
    • Complete required documentation in a timely manner Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 1 year working in a supervised setting with people having severe disabling mental illness preferred
    • College-level courses in mental health/psych preferred Compensation: $17 - $18 hourly
