Description

Position:Radiologic Tech

Location: Burnsville, MI

Hours Per Week: 40 hr

Hours Per Day: 8 hr

Duration: 3 months

Duties:

Perform approved radiologic procedures at a required technical level, ensuring good quality and producing excellent diagnostic images for accurate diagnoses by Radiologists.
Exhibit excellent patient care skills, adapting to the needs of each patient.
Demonstrate core competencies, including:Demonstrating Fairview Values.
Providing excellent quality patient care at all times.
Performing diagnostic radiologic procedures with technical accuracy and timeliness.
Positioning patients as required to achieve quality diagnostic images.
Participating in the departmental Quality Assurance Plan.
Exhibiting excellent customer relations with patients/clients, visitors, physicians, co-workers, and community/referral sources.
Demonstrating knowledge of safety-related work behaviors to ensure a safe work environment.
Perform various general support functions as needed.
Demonstrate the ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect the developmental level and cultural differences of the population served.

Education:

Required:BLS (Basic Life Support).
AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration.

Languages:

English: Read, Write, Speak.

Certifications & Licenses:

BLS (Basic Life Support).
Radiologic Tech.
