Job DescriptionInfant/Ones TeacherPosition SummaryWe are looking to employ a highly energetic, qualified Infant teacher, who has a passion for instilling values in young children. The Infant/Ones Teacher should have the ability to handle the demands of babies and toddlers with different personalities and needs.
To ensure success, the Infant/Ones Teacher should display a gentle and nurturing personality, and the patience to assist each infant or child to mature cognitively. They should be able to assist in developing the infants' and children's social skills as they interact with each other.

ResponsibilitiesGuiding babies and toddlers through education/development programs.
Thinking on their feet and responding to each child's needs efficiently.
Displaying a patient and calm personality coupled with a loving approach to every child.
Organized
Multi-tasker
Effectively collaborates & communicates with colleagues & families.
Contributing positively to the behavior and social interaction of the children.
Building secure relationships with the children.
Reporting accidents, illness of children to the director and parents.
Ensuring close communication with parents throughout the day.
Other duties as needed.
Position RequirementsInfant Teacher Requirements:
Experience in an Early Childhood Learning Center
40 hours preferred
High School Diploma or Associate Degree (recommended).
CPR certified and trained.
Complete Background Check.
Previous experience in a preschool.
A passion for working with babies and toddlers.
Patient, nurturing and thoughtful.
Good communication skills.
Must be open to ongoing professional development
Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds and do the position as physically required, lifting children who may need comforting or may not feel well, etc. Teachers must be able to stand on the playground for 20-30 minutes, supervising children.The Tampa JCCs and Federation is a "DFWP" Drug Free Workplace and an "EEOE" Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
