    • This position works primarily in a vehicle and frequently operates a tow truck. Physical requirements of this role include:
      • Ability to drive short & long distances
      • Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time
      • Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for extended periods of time
      • Ability to maneuver around vehicles and equipment in tight spaces
      • Ability to routinely move equipment up to 50 pounds by oneself and more with assistance
      • Ability to constantly position oneself to stand, stoop, reach or kneel for extended periods of time

    JOB SUMMARY

    As a truck & trailer driver, you will play an essential role as the person who is responsible for providing an exceptional towing experience for our guests and providing roadside assistance when needed. Truck & trailer drivers are also responsible for delivering and completing dealer trades, customer vehicle pick up/deliveries, as well as, driving service customers to their desired locations as their vehicle gets serviced. Truck & trailer drivers should have a positive attitude and be flexible to take trips/deliveries when they come up.

    The schedule for this position varies.

    JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (A TYPICAL DAY)

    • Operate a tow truck in a safe and responsible manner, including securing the vehicles properly for transport to prevent damage or accidents
    • Respond promptly to service calls/delivery requests and provide assistance to management & customers
    • Deliver dealer trades/customer deliveries/service customers in a safe, timely manner
    • Thoroughly fill out drivers logs with correct corresponding receipts attached and turn into Human Resources at the end of every pay period
    • Maintain accurate records of drives and service calls and perform routine truck maintenance if needed
    • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies and safety protocols
    • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

    • Valid US driver's license with clean record
    • Previous experience in towing or related experience preferred
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and remain composure in high pressure situations

    • Ability to use navigation systems
