    Job Title: Marketing Specialist - Commercial Lines at HUB

    The Opportunity:

    We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Commercial Lines department. The role involves managing the placement of commercial clients' businesses to ensure the best coverage at the most competitive costs. The Marketing Specialist analyzes policies, understands clients' risks, and works towards securing the best outcomes for our clients.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Market all lines of commercial insurance to meet revenue goals.
    • Analyze business trends and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Liaise with different departments for specialized coverage.
    • Assist with pre-underwriting activities and proposal presentations.
    • Ensure accuracy in policies and quotations.
    • Build strong relationships with underwriters.
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends and underwriting practices.
    • Maintain logs for new business and renewals.
    • Perform other assigned duties and projects.

    Job Specifications:

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma / GED
    • 3-5 years of insurance marketing/underwriting experience.
    • Property & Casualty License

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective team player.
    • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret business data.

    Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

    • Mostly a stationary position.
    • Frequent communication with colleagues and clients.
    • Regular use of office equipment.
    • Occasional movement within the office.
