- Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure

- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a 2-year AMA-approved school
- Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one (1) year of IR experience
- Angio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plus BLS required and ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Job Summary and QualificationsInterventional Radiology Technologist -- Call Required
We are seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a full-time basis. You will operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization, as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab (scrubbing, circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status). HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383-bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen-acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons.
