Grocery sales associate responsible functions below addition duties assigned:
- Keeps grocery department well stocked organized appealing meet customer demands maximize sales Build displays drive incremental sales Stocks rotates merchandise ensure freshness Keeps product easy customer reach Stores excess merchandise backroom organization guidelines Smiles greets customers answers customer questions helps resolve customer concerns promptly polite professional manner Applies proper stocking techniques ensure products properly located shelves ensures merchandise saleable condition correct prices signs May assist receiving unloading checking-in breaking-down storing deliveries operation power jack hand jack if properly trained training provided Handles damaged discontinued items according company policy Removes product sold Responsible general sanitation department Follows cleaning schedules department guidelines ensure work areas equipment counters display cases meet all health OSHA requirements Disposes trash properly Maintains productivity standards work methods shrink control Complies security regulations policies Puts out stock acceptable rate determined company standards May assist baling cardboard related duties if properly trained Training provided Ensures smooth function department store cooperating co-workers supervisors Continuously improves job performance Responsible utilization Personal Protected Equipment including gloves safety cutters sponsored footwear etc Also called upon assist other departments
