    The Opportunity

    CONSOR Engineers is seeking a reliable, organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to manage daily clerical tasks at our Dallas office. As the initial point of contact, you will ensure our team members and clients receive an iconic customer service experience. This role will wear many hats including: serving as the face of the company, handling incoming phone calls, answering inquiries from vendors and staff, supply ordering and stocking, correspondence and report preparation, assisting the accounting team, and other duties as assigned. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent client-facing communication skills.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcomes and assists in-person visitors
  • Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phone calls pleasantly and professionally
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes daily office mail
  • Prepares and distributes emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Assists and coordinates office events and meetings
  • Maintains electronic and paper files, records, and reports
  • Maintains office supplies and equipment inventory by checking stock and anticipating needed supplies
  • Receipt and expense report reconciliation
  • Scanning, uploading, filing, and reconciling various documents
  • Maintains company vehicle log and upkeep of vehicles
  • Ensures the proper presentation and upkeep of shared space and common areas, including reception area and kitchen
  • May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside assigned areas regarding administrative issues on purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations
  • Required Credentials

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in an administrative role
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must maintain a positive, outgoing, and upbeat personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and initiative to identify needs and see them through to completion
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity daily
