    • POSITION SUMMARY:
    • Under the direction of the Patient Financial Services Director, the Supervisor will be responsible for the direct supervision of the Patient Financial Services Team Lead(s) and Patient Financial Services staff. The Supervisor is responsible to organize and supervise the operations of the Patient Financial Services Team to ensure quality and expeditious billing and account resolution. The supervisor will assist in developing plans and ensuring compliance with all revenue cycle initiatives.
    • QUALIFICATIONS:
    • EDUCATION:
    • Minimum:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Technical school training or Associate's Degree
    • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's Degree. Some applicable work experience may be substituted for preferred educational requirements.
    • LICENSE:
    • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
    • WORK EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum:
    • Three years of experience in a Patient Financial Services or healthcare revenue cycle role, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Extensive knowledge in third party billing regulations and revenue cycle management.
    • Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding.
    • Prior experience with billing problem identification and resolution.
    • Compliance competency including auditing and reporting.
    • Prior leadership experience including but not limited to building and fostering a spirit of team work and unity, encouraged continuous performance improvement, etc.
    • SKILLS:
    • Minimum:
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Ability to deal with customers, internal and external, in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Preferred:
    • Experience with Meditech and Microsoft Office products

    Salary Range:
    $20.67-$23.99
