    Job Description:

    POSITION SUMMARY

    This position supports Agiliti's manufacturing excellence strategy by delivering operational results across the assigned manufacturing plants and works closely with cross functional teams to maximize production efficiency.

    Roles and responsibilities:
    • Project leadership
      • Manage new equipment installations, validations, qualifications, procedures, and documentation.
      • Lead or assist of 5S/lean six sigma projects.
      • Creation of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
    • Participate in NCMR process.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing operations management to ensure effective resource utilization, planning, and execution of projects that are in alignment with business objectives, and ongoing product development from R&D.
    • Partner with R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, Quality, and finance to create continuous improvement, manufacturing & engineering KPIs to measure performance of the manufacturing plants and provide manufacturing engineering support so that they achieve KPI goals.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of production methodologies.
    • Assist in the development of manufacturing plans.
    • Lead the creation in work instructions for production. Track, analyze, summarize and present data regarding performance to manufacturing operations management to improve product specification margins, first pass yields, and other quality related measurements.
    • Partner with operations teams to identify problems, conduct root cause analysis and come up with optimal resolutions for challenging line issues.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Build and deploy a training capability to train and coach manufacturing leaders and team members on operational excellence based on lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
    • Work closely with business Functional leaders to understand their current challenges and how to appropriately use corporate resources to improve system performance
    • Develop a team of subject matter experts that have the capability to drive excellence across the manufacturing organization in effective application of the operating model in the achievement of direct and measurable operation gains and to embed a culture of operational excellence
    QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in engineering with hands on experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence
    • Ability to work on multiple projects and manage various priorities and timelines and to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, and capable of identifying needs and implementing solutions without help
    • Ability to influence others and work within cross-functional teams to make critical decisions
    EDUCATION
    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/ Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering fields.
