,Responsibilities
,- Direct all engineering operations including preventive maintenance repairs asset protection and emergency preparedness Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards and all applicable safety building and environmental regulations Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs protect hotel assets Oversee life safety systems emergency programs inspections drills documentation Manage energy efficiency initiatives utility controls Coordinate with vendors solicit bids negotiate contracts manage service agreements Investigate incidents accidents prepare reports mitigate risk liability Maintain accurate asset tracking inventory controls partnership Corporate Prepare manage the Engineering operating budget capital expenditure plans Monitor expenses labor inventory meet exceed financial goals Provide cost comparisons forecasts recommendations hotel leadership Support long short-term planning initiatives Lead coach develop the Engineering team focus accountability service excellence Hire train schedule evaluate Engineering associates Conduct performance reviews progressive discipline support succession planning Ensure associates properly trained equipment use safety emergency procedures Foster open communication engagement employee retention Ensure prompt response guest internal maintenance requests Maintain visible presence interact guests resolve concerns Partner department leaders support hotel operations guest satisfaction Liaise local authorities fire departments insurance providers as needed
