R/W Connection, one of the industry's leading distributors of Hydraulic and Industrial hose, is looking for a qualified candidate to join our Inside Sales team for our well-established Glen Burnie, MD location.

This is a hands-on position in which the primary responsibilities would include:

• Handle customer's requests for quotes and order processing
• Addresses all walk-in customers promptly and assists them with their needs
• Support outside sales efforts with quote, order, expedite or sample requests
• Place, arrange and maintain merchandise displays in showroom
• Assist in supporting customer on-site inventory and replenishment programs
• Support production personnel when necessary, in the fabrication of Hydraulic and Industrial hose assemblies
• Safely uses the necessary tools and/or machinery to retrieve materials from the shelves to fill orders, such as the forklift, when needed
• Safely uses the necessary tools and/or machinery to help with the assembly or fabrication of hose assemblies, when needed
• Follows and promotes all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others

Qualifications:

• Customer service skills required
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer skills required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Team player with ability to handle multiple roles when required
• Strong work ethic
• Prior distribution experience preferred
• Valid driver license required
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
