    Job Title: Janitor

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of office buildings, break rooms, bathrooms, yards/grounds, parking lots, warehouses, and dock areas under general supervision.
    • Perform heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
    • Conduct routine maintenance activities, including cleaning show or debris from grounds and notifying management of repair needs.

    Requirements and Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (or at least one year of related work experience).
    • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions, solve routine problems, and understand safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams.
    • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, safe use of cleaning chemicals, and strong communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and may be required to work overtime, evenings, or weekends.

    Physical Requirements:
    While performing essential job functions, the associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally, they must sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate is frequently exposed to extreme cold and moderately loud noise levels in the warehouse.
