Job Summary
The Senior Estimator is responsible for developing, coordinating, reviewing, and communicating all levels of project and program cost estimates.Qualifications
- Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
High School diploma or GED High School diploma or GED High School diploma or GED High School diploma
12 years of industrial experience scoping and developing engineering procurement construction estimates with a minimum 7 yrs specific cost estimating experience professional estimating certifications AACE ASPE .
Responsibilities
- Develop oversee development project estimates across all estimating levels based defined scope work. Support planning engineering groups in development accurate engineering procurement construction estimates. Maintain overseeing maintenance continuous improvement Long Range Plan LRP capital expense projects.Support annual project lists Project coordination activities Monitro labor market trends coordinate Procurement track equipment material pricing trends tax liability where appliable Provide oversight direction projec work activities Develop maintain improve benchmarks data solutions ensure efficient accurate complete estimations Identify key financial risks Establish internal controls Monitor financial indicators support predictability accuracy Present explain estimate basis assumptions accuracy management stakeholders Maintain databases historical records Attend departmen safety meetings Support biennial refueling outage as required ,
