We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Security Gating and Fencing Service Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-level security gating, fencing, and surveillance systems for our clients.

Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of these systems.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and inspections of high-level security gating, fencing, and surveillance systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot system malfunctions to determine the root cause of problems.
Repair or replace faulty components, equipment, or wiring as necessary to restore system functionality.
Conduct thorough testing and quality checks after repairs or maintenance to verify proper system operation.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to security systems.
Keep accurate and detailed service records, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and end-users regarding system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations in security gating, fencing, and surveillance systems.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new security systems, ensuring they are integrated correctly and meet client requirements.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing service visits and working at client sites to ensure a secure and incident-free environment.

Requirements:

Some experience as a service technician troubleshooting and maintaining high-level security gating, fencing, and surveillance systems.
Strong knowledge of security system components, including gates, access control systems, CCTV cameras, motion sensors, and alarms.
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to security systems, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical specifications, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, and network connectivity principles.
Hands-on experience with testing and diagnostic tools for security system maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites for service visits as required.
