    Are you an LPN or an RN looking for a new opportunity in long-term care but are unable to work weekends? Are you looking to work in a skilled nursing facility with a small amount of residents to care for? Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck is looking for an
    LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) to work part-time evenings Tuesday and Friday 3p-11p.

    What you will do:
    Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck brings the full continuum of housing and residential care to the Slingerlands campus.

    Comprised of two ranch-style homes, each accommodating 12 residents, Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck offers private rooms and baths for each resident, and a family-style country kitchen with living/dining area.


    A Greenhouse model is a pioneering effort in long term care bringing control back to the elders that live in the houses by honoring their lifelong routines and preferences. In addition to the
    culture change in care delivery there is also a relationship shift between nurses and the C.N.A's that manage the individual houses.


    Responsibilities:

    • Administering medication and treatments for 24 elders Act as a coach and provide guidance for all clinical needs of the elders living in the home
    • Work as a part of a team with the RNs, LPNs and C.N.As to insure all tasks are completed as needed
    • Walk from houses on the campus to cover all residents assigned to their care
    • Assist in the mentorship and oversight of C.N.A staff (LPNs in addition if RN)

    What you will need:

    Required:

    • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York
    • Associate's degree in nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school
    • Valid NYS LPN license

    Preferred:

    • 1 year or more of experience in a skilled nursing setting as a RN or LPN (not required)

    Preferred Requirements :


    • 1 yr of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (not required)

    Salary:
    Up to $45.75 per hour

    Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.

    Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.

    The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
