Job summary
Design and develop electrical circuits for plasma chamber biasing and advanced etch applications Generate PCB Gerber files and build prototype circuits using breadboards, hand‑soldering, and machiningPerform detailed electrical measurements using: Power supplies Function generators Additional RF/electrical test equipment Develop algorithms and perform scientific computing in Python, MATLAB, or equivalent languages Calibrate and operate optical diagnostics including laser‑based systems Support development execution analysis of plasma diagnostic techniques such as Contribute to R&D projects involving RF power delivery plasma processing vacuum‑related hardware Work closely with senior technical experts in a collaborative small team environment Currently pursuing Master's PhD/Doctorate in Electrical Engineering Applied Physics Physics Plasma Physics RF Engineering Or related technical field Expected graduation date December 2026 or later Minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale Strong college level understanding of electromagnetism electronic circuits Oscilloscopes Laboratory electrical measurements R&D engineering laboratory work academic work extracurricular Proficiency in Python MATLAB other scientific programming languages Soldering basic machining skills Self motivated quick learner able to work effectively team environment Experience with RF power delivery exposure to RF systems Background plasma diagnostics Langmuir probes RFEA Familiarity semiconductor processing plasmas coursework research lab experience Knowledge vacuum systems mechanical engineering related vacuum technology Strong verbal communication skills ability present technical data clearly Experience electronic circuit design hardware development
